Fabric Wall Hangings
Before placing your hanging on the wall it is recommended that you give the fabric a warm iron on the reverse side, especially along all the hems.
You can slide the fabric off the timber hanger if you find it easier to iron.
The wall hanging comes supplied with a Tasmanian oak hanger which has keyhole slots on the back for easy mounting to the wall. As pictured below.
Keyhole slot hanging tip. You will need 2 mounting screws to attach the hanging to your wall.
If you are renting or prefer not to put screws in your wall, it is recommended that you use 3M Command Large Picture Hanging Strips.
They will securely hold the hanging, but also come off cleanly if you need to move.
Fabric Wall Flags
Before hanging your wall flag it is recommended that you give the fabric a warm iron on the reverse side, especially along all the hems.
You can slide the flag off the dowel if you find it easier to iron.
The wall flags come supplied with dowel and rope, making it quick and easy to hang. If you choose to hang 2 or 3 flags together you may want to purchase longer rope or dowel from a hardware store.
To keep your Home Dweller wall hangings and flags looking their best we recommend an occasional wipe over with a lint brush or roller.
If you do need to wash the fabric it is recommended to dry clean only.
Note on natural fabrics and timber variance
Natural fabrics may contain subtle imperfections such as slubbing and yarn variation. These are characteristic of fibres derived from seeds and plants.
As timber is a natural product, the grain will vary from piece to piece. Some imperfections may be present and we believe these variations add to the authentic, natural quality of the hanger.
